Welcome to the Reflections By Jen blog. I began this blog in 2011 with the purpose of writing about my journey to live a healthier life. My purpose for the blog was to not only write about physical health but also mental and emotional health. In addition, I wanted to focus on developing and strengthening relationships with family and friends.
Sometimes, life has a way of getting in the way of those things that are most important to us. Strengthening our relationships with those we love, our spiritual relationship with God, and our own personal development and health are sometimes sacrificed by the business of life. Getting back to the basics and focusing our time and attention on those things that are most important is vital to living a healthy and happy life.
I started out my blog in 2011 with great expectations and was thoroughly enjoying my blogging experience. However, in 2012 I began having some unexpected health issues and chose to stop blogging for a time. Well, it’s been 4 1/2 years since my last blog post and I’ve decided it’s time to start blogging again.
I’ve decided to begin an additional blog as well. This site, “Reflections By Jen” will be dedicated to my journey to live a healthier life in the overall sense. My other blog www.JensJourney2Heal.com will be dedicated to my journey to find healing from complex PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I’ve decided to separate my blog posts into two different blog sites as my posts regarding complex PTSD will most likely appeal to a specific type of audience.
I’m looking forward to writing again and hope you enjoy my blogs. Feel free to comment on my posts if you have thoughts or insight you’d like to share.
